South Australian Brett Metcalfe has finished third in the 2015 Rockstar Energy Canadian Motocross Nationals Championship after finishing third at Walton Raceway’s final round on Sunday.

The Team Monster Energy Thor Kawasaki rider went 5-1 over the weekend to cap off his season, winning the final moto of the year on board his KX450F.

Metcalfe, who won the Canadian championship on debut in 2013, captured three overall victories this season – rounds one, four and six – in the stacked MX1 ranks.

Round 10 at Walton Raceway was won by Honda’s Colton Facciotti with a 1-3 scorecard, however fourth overall was enough for American Matt Goerke to deliver the MX1 title to Rockstar Energy Yamaha.
