Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) CEO Andrew Westacott says the 2013 Tissot Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix will be “even better” with the addition of Aussie international Brett Metcalfe.

Metcalfe was last week confirmed to be lining up in this weekend’s fourth and fifth rounds of the Terex Australian Supercross Championship (click here for details).

“Brett brings another international element to the 2013 Tissot Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix and the Australian Supercross Championship line-up at Phillip Island and we look forward to cheering him on,” Westacott said.

“Brett’s involvement means that what is already shaping up to be an exciting event will be even better. There is plently of general admission viewing at the Supercross track and tickets are still available at motogp.com.au.”

The Terex Australian Supercross Championship will take place on a purpose-built track in the Lukey Heights precinct at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit alongside the 16th round of the MotoGP World Championship.
