Australia’s Chad Reed debuted a new-look TwoTwo Motorsports/Bel-Ray Racing Honda CRF450R during press day ahead of this weekend’s Monster Energy AMA Supercross finals in Las Vegas.

Reed will race with a slick black frame on Saturday night in Nevada at Sam Boyd Stadium, also featuring additional red plastics compared to previous rounds of the year – another indication that he’s receiving extra support from American Honda to close out 2011.

Speaking at the press conference on Friday in Las Vegas, Reed said he will do all that he can to try and win a third title on Saturday night in the U.S.

“I’ll be as aggressive as I need to be,” said Reed. “I’ll ride like everyone else has talked about, leaving here knowing you left nothing on the table. I think for me it’s been a blast from the get go. Coming into this season the way I did, it was fun.

“Each and every week we progressed and got better. It’s been a challenge. Win or lose, I’ve learned a lot and we’ve positioned ourselves with a chance to win the title. As a team owner, that is what you’re trying to do.

“All titles are special. This one is hyped up, but it doesn’t feel a lot different than any other year. We’re nine back and I’m going to give it everything I got.

“What’s made this season so different is that every rider has had something go wrong with an abnormal mistake. There are still 20 laps to go and anything can happen.”

Reed also debuted brand new Shift gear during press day, the latest in an ultra successful partnership for the pair this season.
