Serco Yoshimura Yamaha’s Ford Dale believes he has what it takes to win when the 2011 Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals resumes this weekend in South Australia.

With Murray Bridge featuring a loamy surface, Dale feels it could play perfectly into his hands as it reminds him of some of his favourite circuits in Queensland near his home on the Sunshine Coast.

Dale currently runs just inside the top 10 but is looking to the Murray Bridge round to make his charge up the leader board.

“I really like riding in sand as it suits my style,” Dale said. “The track down there reminds me of the Warwick track we have here in Queensland and that is one of my favourites.

“I have kept working between the rounds and feel like I’m ready to win.”

Dale currently sits 10th in the standings and 128 points off series leader Matt Moss following an inconsistent season to date, however a moto victory at Broadford’s season opener marks the high point to date.
