Serco Yoshimura Yamaha’s Jake Moss is on the verge on regaining full fitness and form ahead of round four of the 2011 Rockstar Energy MX Nationals at Murray Bridge in South Australia.

Moss suffered a disastrous shoulder injury while contesting a German Supercross round before the season commenced, returning at Appin’s second round despite not being completely fit to race.

A lengthy month-long break between rounds has given Moss additional time to recover, and he’s expecting his best result yet following a positive few weeks of training.

“I have tried to ride as much as my shoulder can take since round three and things are finally coming around,” Moss explained.

“It’s taken some serious work on the bike and plenty of hours in the gym, but I think I am getting back to a level of fitness where I can compete for race wins.”

Moss currently sits 16th in the standings after taking 12th overall at Raymond Terrace, the Pro Lites series lead by twin brother Matt Moss after three straight wins to start his season with JDR Motorex KTM.
