Conondale added to the roster alongside seven returning venues.
The complete 2026 Australian ProMX Championship calendar has now been finalised, confirming an eight-round schedule that will see the historic Green Park circuit in Conondale make its long-awaited debut in the modern era alongside a list of returning venues.
Next year’s Penrite ProMX season will span six months, with Wonthaggi in Victoria set to open the series on March 21-22, while Queensland Moto Park (QMP) will close out the championship on August 1-2. Both events will remain the only two-day fixtures on the calendar.
Between the bookend rounds, ProMX will return to a familiar mix of circuits, including Canberra on April 19, Gillman on May 10, Toowoomba on May 24, Appin on June 14, Traralgon on July 12, and the new addition of Conondale on July 26.
Conondale’s inclusion is a notable highlight, with the iconic Green Park facility – located in the Sunshine Coast hinterland – having hosted many of Australia’s top riders across previous eras, marking a significant addition to ProMX. It will take the place of Warwick on the calendar.
“The foundations are now in place for another sensational season of ProMX,” said Motorcycling Australia (MA) CEO Peter Doyle. “Weaving all the calendar elements together is a methodical process, but we’re excited by the mix of tracks on the 2026 calendar – all with attributes that will balance out the various strengths and weaknesses of riders and machines.
“The heat will be on from day one at Wonthaggi, which is how it should be as Australia’s best motocross riders get to work. Thanks again to the riders, spectators, commercial partners, and hosting clubs who continue to support the ProMX championship.”
The full-time MX1, MX2, and MX3 categories will again headline all eight rounds of the series, while MXW (Wonthaggi, Traralgon, Conondale, and QMP) will feature at four stops on the calendar and the Veterans (QMP) class at one event.
Additionally, the MX85 (Wonthaggi, Canberra, and Toowoomba) and MX65 Futures (Gillman, Appin, and QMP) classes will appear at three rounds each, strengthening the pathway for emerging talent.
