Victorian circuit makes second appearance on national fixture.
The Eastern Victorian venue of Traralgon will host round six of the 2026 Penrite ProMX Championship, with Loy Yang Park returning to the national calendar after a successful debut last season.
With Wonthaggi already confirmed as hosting the season-opener for the sixth-straight year, Traralgon’s inclusion further solidifies the southern states’ presence on the ProMX calendar.
“After being an iconic motocross track for decades, I was delighted to see Traralgon join the ProMX calendar in 2025,” said Peter Doyle, Motorcycling Australia (MA) CEO.
“And it didn’t disappoint. The on-track action was nothing short of jaw-dropping, and the feedback from riders, teams, and spectators on all aspects of the round was overwhelmingly positive.
“We’re back in 2026 to do it all again, and I’d like to thank the Latrobe City Council for its continued support to help showcase the Australian Motocross Championship in its most professional light.”
With two 2026 ProMX locations now officially confirmed as part of the eight-round provisional calendar, further event announcements are anticipated to roll out next week.
