Named for the Gold Coast in addition to Argentina round.
Haiden Deegan has added a second wildcard start to his 2025 World Supercross Championship (WSX) schedule in the Australian Grand Prix, confirmed for the Gold Coast at Cbus Super Stadium on November 29.
Already previously named for the Buenos Aires City round in Argentina riding SX2, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Deegan will also make his debut in Australia next month.
“I can’t wait to take my racing international with World Supercross,” the 19-year-old commented. “It’s crazy to think my first races outside the US are coming up in Argentina and then Australia – two awesome spots with passionate fans. I’m ready to race hard and give everyone a great show.”
Deegan had been expected to contest the AUSX Open event in Melbourne – the high-profile international that forms part of the Australian championship – before a WSX deal was struck, which will see him added as a wildcard on the Gold Coast.
As the current Monster Energy Supercross 250SX West and Pro Motocross 250MX champion, who is set to transition to the 450 class full-time next summer in America, it hasn’t been specified what class Deegan will contest in his first Australian appearance.
