Honda Racing has signed four-time Penrite ProMX MXW champion Charli Cannon to remain with the team through the end of the 2027 season, spanning the Australian and American championships in a two-year contract extension.

The renewed deal sees the Queenslander represent Honda Racing locally, as well as Quad Lock Honda – also led by team owner Yarrive Konsky – in the AMA Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX).

Since joining Honda, Cannon has produced standout performances both nationally and internationally, with 2025 yielding her fourth MXW crown in Australia, as well as a P2 finish in WMX following a season-long battle with Lachlan Turner (Altus Motorsports BLU CRU Yamaha).

An exact schedule for the 19-year-old will emerge once both the ProMX and WMX calendars are released for 2026.

“Honda’s support has been incredible, I’m so thankful for the opportunities they’ve given me,” commented Cannon. “The teams in Australia and America operate at such a professional level, and that gives me so much confidence.

“Both Honda Australia and American Honda have shown real commitment to women’s racing, and I’m excited to keep building on this year’s success.”

Honda Racing Australia director Yarrive Konsky added: “Charli is genuinely world-class, and we’re proud to continue growing together. We’re learning, evolving, and building something meaningful for the future.”
