Shoulder injury rules Beta teammate out of ISDE 2025.
A late change has been made to Australia’s 2025 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) World Trophy Team, with Jye Dickson drafted in to replace injured Andy Wilksch.
Wilksch injured his shoulder in a practice crash last weekend and will miss the upcoming event, which is scheduled to take place in Italy between August 24-29.
The withdrawal of Wilksch opens the door for the in-form Beta teammate Dickson – winner of the Tintinara Pro Enduro overall on the Sunday at the beginning of June – to make his ISDE debut.
“I’m really excited to get the call-up for the Australian World Trophy Team,” said Dickson. “It’s unfortunate that Andy is unable to go, so I wish him a speedy recovery. It will be surreal to represent Australia alongside some world-class riders, and I look forward to learning off them as I make my ISDE debut.”
Dickson will join fellow Yamaha Australian Enduro Championship (AEC) front-runners Daniel Milner (KTM DM31 Racing Team), Jonte Reynders (KTM DM31 Racing Team), and US-based Beta rider Josh Strang in the World Trophy Team.
