Kyle Webster (Boost Mobile Honda Racing) – Third overall:
After round one, I wasn’t sure I’d make round two. The crash hurt, and then I broke bones in my back before Warwick. I didn’t know how I’d bounce back. But they say you’ve got to be in it to win it, and it couldn’t be more true. I’m so proud of the team and thankful to our sponsors. This victory proves the power of perseverance.

Wilson Todd (Berry Sweet Honda Racing) – First overall:
The results don’t always show the battles we face. It’s been a tough two years mentally and physically, but I’m stoked to finish with a round win and a top-three overall result.

Nathan Crawford (KTM Racing Team) – Second overall:
I struggled to gel with the track yesterday, but I’ve learnt to just turn up and give it everything in the race. I got the holeshot in the opening moto, felt really good, and I was able to manage the race well to take my first win of the year. The second moto wasn’t the best ending to what was shaping up to be a great day – everything I tried just didn’t really work for me in that last race. It’s time to reflect on a good season, because P2 in the championship is a step forward from last year, and I’m stoked to be able to get through the series healthy and put the KTM Racing Team on the podium at the final round.

Kirk Gibbs (KTM Racing Team) – 16th overall:
I just had good vibes all weekend. Knowing this was going to be my final race, I had nothing to lose. I came to do work this weekend, and getting Superpole was the highlight. But I went from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows with that first race, because it was a big crash with all three of us coming together on the start straight. It’s not how I wanted to end my career – the fairytale would’ve been to go 1-1 today – but I can still claim that I’ve got the speed after setting the fastest qualifying lap! I’ve been with KTM for 10 years and I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey.

Todd Waters (Raceline Husqvarna TDub Racing Team) – DNF:
I hate getting hurt, but that was a big crash. I tangled with two other riders on the start straight, and we went down hard. There was some force in that crash because it snapped my triple clamps, I hit my head, and broke a rib. I’m pretty tender at the moment, but for how dramatic the crash was, all three of us got out of it remarkably well. I crashed at Toowoomba last weekend as well, so I’m a little disappointed to end the season this way.

Regan Duffy (Raceline Husqvarna TDub Racing Team) – Ninth overall:
After having eight weeks off, I wasn’t expecting much this weekend, and I came in with an open mind. I was quietly confident before the first moto, and ended up seventh, which was my best result for the year. It’s not amazing, but it’s those small wins that I’ve been focusing on this season. I was in a position for another good result in the second moto, but had an incident on the first lap. The track was gnarly, I was pretty tired and my back was starting to hurt towards the end, so 15th was the best I could do. It was good to be back and to make the final round.

Levi Rogers (Caloundra Motorcycles) – Fourth overall:
It was a good way to finish and nice to finally get a race podium. I have always liked this track and even in the 250 days, I had some decent results here. It’s been a big year and a few ups and downs, but I’m pretty happy to finish seventh and think there is still room for improvement. Thanks to everyone at Caloundra Motorcycles, as it’s a lot of work for a shop team, but they did a great job to keep me on track all season.

Ryder Kingsford (Monster Energy Yamalube Yamaha) – Second overall:
This year has been a step forward for me in most aspects of my racing. My speed is better than last year, my consistency is better, my fitness has taken a step forward and together with the team, our race bike is better – so it’s been an improved year and one that I’m happy with. I only missed the podium twice, and one of those was because of a decent crash I had in the mud at Canberra. Thanks to everyone on the team for the support this year. Mike and Ben have worked so hard to give me everything I need, and their support means a lot. Ross Beaton, my family and so many others are involved, so thanks to them and now it’s time to get ready for supercross. I’m excited for that.

Jayce Cosford (Monster Energy Yamalube Yamaha) – DNF:
I’m gutted I didn’t get to race this weekend as I was so determined to finish the final round on the podium. It seems the last couple of rounds, the harder I tried, the worse it got. But, I need to get this shoulder sorted so I’m ready to go for supercross in October, so I will get onto that this week and begin whatever is required for my rehab. The team have again been a huge support to me this year, and I’m sorry I wasn’t able to get them the result they deserved this weekend. They all put in a lot of effort, and I wanted to bring it home strong. Unfortunately, things didn’t go that way,

Brodie Connolly (Polyflor Honda Racing) – Third overall:
The goal was always to win the championship, and we did that early. Crashing in moto one today made the final round tough, but I’m glad I ended on a high.

Alex Larwood (National Finance and Loans Honda Racing) – 13th overall:
Of course, I wanted more, but there’s a lot to take from this season. I’m focused on supercross now and already looking forward to next year.

Byron Dennis (KTM Racing Team) – Fourth overall:
It wasn’t too bad of a weekend. I got through it and had the speed in the first moto, but didn’t have it in the second one. I’m happy to finish the whole championship this year. I made it to every round, so I can’t complain about that, and I’ll take the positives before we move on to supercross training now.

Noah Ferguson (KTM Racing Team) – First overall:
It’s been a lot of work to get to this point, and I’m really stoked to put two solid motos together. It’s been building since about midway through the season. There were plenty of third-place results, then a second, and now a win, so I’m really happy to end the year on a high. It’s one of my best years in this class!

Jack Kukas (Raceline Husqvarna TDub Racing Team) – 15th overall:
I think I broke a bone in my hand yesterday when I hit a timber marker on the side of the track. That turned today’s racing into a battle, but I was keen to finish the series off. I like this track and had hoped for a good result here, but I struggled to hold onto the bars properly. It was a disappointing way to end the series, but it was a good experience riding for the Raceline Husqvarna Tdub Racing Team, and I want to thank them for the opportunity.
