Finishing P4 overall at Washougal continued Hunter Lawrence’s unbroken top-five streak since entering the 450MX division last season, extending his stretch to 19 rounds in a row.

In what has been a remarkable display of consistency, Lawrence is yet to finish any worse than fifth, underscored by a total of 14 podium results – without any wins – during that time.

A 5-4 moto scorecard and fourth overall on Saturday was another demonstration of his unmatched consistency, however, early race pace prevented him from directly challenging the premier class front-runners in Washington.

“Another top-five overall and fourth on the day,” commented Lawrence post-race. “I kept the top-five streak alive – that makes 19 in a row, so that’s pretty cool, and I’m happy to leave here in one piece.

“The visibility was really tough, with the shadows… I might need to see an eye doctor to make sure I’m not partially blind. But it was the same for everyone, and I’m glad to make it through.”

Lawrence faces a 61-point deficit to Honda HRC Progressive teammate/brother and series leader Jett with three rounds remaining in the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship.
