MX2 class revelation Deacon Paice has joined the Winner Triumph Racing Australia team for the remaining Penrite ProMX rounds of 2025, the deal extending through this year’s Australian Supercross Championship (AUSX) beginning in October.

Capturing a strong fifth overall thanks to a 7-6 moto scorecard in Gillman, the Western Australian teenager went on to record a P4 race finish during Traralgon’s second moto, before experiencing a difficult stretch of results at both Warwick and Canberra rounds.

Beginning in Toowoomba, Paice will switch from his early-season JR Triumph Racing program to the Victorian-based Winner Triumph Racing team, and complete both ProMX and AUSX with the new outfit.

“I’m excited to be joining the Winner Triumph Racing team, I’ve made the trip down from Queensland [to Victoria] to take a look at the shop, and it looks sick, so I reckon it’ll be a pretty cool time,” commented Paice. “I gel with the bike, and trying out some parts with the new team already has me comfortable, so it’s looking good.

“I’m looking forward to training for the supercross season, the team and I will do some testing with suspension in the lead up, as it’s much stiffer for supercross, so we’ll see what the rest of the season brings.”

Paice currently sits 10th overall in his first full MX2 season, with the penultimate round of ProMX racing taking place at Toowoomba’s Echo Valley circuit on Sunday.
