Team Australia debutant Madison Healey has been named as Tayla Jones’ replacement in the Women’s World Trophy squad for the 2025 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), after an injury has left team mainstay Jones sidelined.

The change marks a significant shuffle in the national line-up, with Healey set to make her ISDE debut alongside Jess Gardiner and US-based Danielle McDonald when the event takes place in Italy later this year.

Jones, a cornerstone of Team Australia’s Women’s World Trophy efforts since 2013, has been ruled out of this year’s event following leg injuries sustained during a recent round of the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series in the United States. Her absence marks only the second time she will miss the ISDE in over a decade.

Stepping into the role, 21-year-old Healey will make her first appearance at the ISDE when it takes place in Italy between August 24-29.

“I am overwhelmed and very excited with the opportunity to represent Motorcycling Australia in the 2025 ISDE,” explained Healey. “It’s disappointing for Tayla, but I’ll be trying my hardest over the next six weeks to prepare for what will be a gruelling event.

“I’m really happy with how my enduro form has been progressing, and I’ve already been chatting to Jess [Gardiner] about the ISDE in terms of preparation and what I can expect when I get there.

“Having Jess and Danielle [McDonald] helping me will be a huge asset, and I can’t wait to get to Italy and be a part of it all. My mum, dad and partner will also be joining me at the event, so there’s going to be plenty of family support.”

The Victorian has been in fine form across multiple disciplines, including the Yamaha Australian Enduro Championship (AEC), Penrite ProMX Championship, and most recently taking the 2025 Tatts Finke Desert Race victory.
