MX3 points leader Byron Dennis says he won’t ‘leave anything on the table’ in his quest to secure the title at the final round of the 2023 Penrite ProMX Championship this weekend in Coolum.

Dennis enters the round 25 points ahead of Raceline Husqvarna Berry Sweet Racing Team’s Jack Mather, the two riders tying on points last time out at Queensland Moto Park with Dennis scoring 3-2 in the motos, while Mather went 2-3.

It’s been a breakout year for the GasGas rider, with consistency being the key as he’s landed himself on the overall podium at every outing, including the round win at round six in Toowoomba.

“Obviously, Coolum is somewhat of a home track to a few of these guys I’m battling with,” Dennis told MotoOnline. “But, I feel like these tracks are so different on race day. So, the game plan is to not leave anything on the table, just go in and do the best we can, it’s just another day in the office.

“Being the last round it doesn’t really change much for me, I’m just going to go out and do my best and hopefully, it ends up being a good weekend.”

Dennis sits atop the MX3 championship with 230 points heading into Coolum, followed by Mather on 205 and Jake Cannon (Yamalube Yamaha Racing Team) on 176 points in third, despite not scoring points in round two of the series at Appin.
