Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has confirmed a multi-year contract extension with Liam Everts, the MX2 World Championship contender to continue with the outfit through 2024 and beyond.

Everts, 18, has impressed this year in MX2 with four podium finishes and a grand prix victory, with 2023 his second season at world championship level.

“I’m really happy to extend my contract with KTM and to have found a ‘home’,” Everts explained. “I’m working really well with the team and have been building my way to the front.

“The progress we have made this year has been very good and very nice and to have won a GP already is above expectations. I’m hungry for more. To continue in orange is what I wanted and now I’m looking forward to a couple more seasons together.”

Everts, son of motocross legend Stefan Everts, is currently fifth in the MX2 points standings ahead of his home event in Lommel this weekend.
