Maitland set to challenge Jesse Dobson

Jesse Dobson press release:

Maitland, two hours north of Sydney, is set to host the seventh round of the MX Nationals where Sunshine Coast based MPE Husqvarna FC450 racer Jesse Dobson is looking to continue his charge up the championship rankings. With very little track time at the venue, Dobson remains optimistic of a strong result, despite many competitors being able to race the track in recent months.

Jesse Dobson: “I’m really lucky as a privateer to have some great support this season technically, financially and product based from a range of companies and individuals, some of them who’ve supported me since I was a junior such as Paul Baericke, Dunlop, Kwala… the list goes on. I need to manage that support as best as I can and so it meant I had to miss some races in Maitland earlier in the year. To be honest though, it’s actually a confidence boost to know that all the brands and people behind me believe in me as much as I believe in myself and have invested their time, effort and money in me. It adds some pressure, since every result rests on my shoulders, but it supports my own belief that I can compete against the best MX1 racers in Australia. I want to keep chipping away and continuing to get better every weekend. I’ve been putting in the hard work so I expect to see progress within myself.”

Dobson, currently eighth in the premier MX1 Championship, has proved already that, with the right people in your corner, a privateer can challenge even the biggest factory teams and, as a sign of support for Jesse and those people that support him, you’re encouraged to follow his partners on their social media, and consider their products or services when making your next purchase.
