Motul collect SX1 podium positions at round two

Motul press release:

It was another solid performance from Motul supported athletes at round two of the Australian Supercross Championship at Jimboomba last weekend, with Team Motul Suzuki’s Matt Moss and NPS Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Adam Monea concluding the night with podium finishes.

After Motul’s success at round one in Bathurst, expectations were high in Queensland last weekend, and with a crowd of close to 10,000 people, Motul’s supported rides delivered the results last weekend.

Team Motul Suzuki’s Moss was dominant from the minute the night kicked off – snatching up the fastest qualifying time, and the ‘Dash for Cash’ win, before making a small mistake in the main event, however recovered to take an outstanding third place.

Matt Moss: “I felt really good in qualifying and in the ‘Dash for Cash’, and it was good to put Motul and my team on the podium for the second time this series,” he said. “I have had the backing of the guys at Motul and Link International for a long time now, and it’s always good knowing that I’m heading out to race with the best products in the business.”

For NPS Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Monea, round two provided the opportunity to show the industry what he’s made of – battling off the likes of fellow Motul supported Moss, to finish round two on the second step of the podium.

Adam Monea: “I can’t thank Motul and the team at Link International enough for their support and helping me finish on the podium,” he said. “Our sponsors are the ones who keep us racing, and to be able to reward them with a podium feels great.”

Motul athletes Daniel McCoy and NPS Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Dylan Long also put in encouraging performances at Jimboomba, finishing the main event in eighth and ninth places respectively.
