German rookie Ken Roczen is confident his current straining structure with Ryan Villopoto will remain in tact for the remainder of the 2014 season and potentially beyond.

Under the direction of famed trainer Aldon Baker, Roczen joined Villopoto and Adam Cianciarulo ahead of his first 450SX campaign and has starred with two wins to his credit.

Last weekend’s victory in Atlanta reduced three-time defending champion Villopoto’s lead to nine points, however Roczen maintains that all is good in the training program from week to week.

“It’s awesome,” Roczen said of the arrangement. “It’s good to see all of us up front. RV’s a really good guy. We don’t just train together, I think we’re friends, like hanging out with him off the track.

“Same with Adam. I think we’re a good group and that makes it a lot easier knowing we’re having fun during the week.

“It’s not like a lot of people think, like ‘when is it going to split up because I start beating him’. I don’t think RV’s that kind of guy. Everything’s working great.”
