CDR Yamaha’s Chris Hollis won his second straight round of the KTM Enduro-X Nationals on Saturday at Valvoline Raceway in Parramatta, in a wet and wild night of off-road action.

Hollis stretched his Pro class championship lead to 13 points with the round victory over former teammate Toby Price (KTM Enduro Racing Team) and American guest Mike Brown, debuting the Husqvarna Enduro Racing Team.

Price claimed the Shootout honours, however it was Hollis who scored highest in the trio of finals with a consistent 2-1-2 effort. Meanwhile Price finished on a high note with the final race win after finishing third in the first two finals.

Brown edged onto the podium in third with mixed results, winning the first final before settling for sixth and fourth in the next pair in challenging, slick conditions.

Beau Ralston was an impressive fourth overall, the Yamaha privateer finishing as high as second in final two, while Price’s KTM teammate Peter Boyle completed the top five.

Australian Off-Road Champion Daniel Milner finished sixth overall, from Active8 Yamaha’s Tom McCormack, then factory Husqvarna trio Scott Keegan, Glenn Kearney and Lachlan Standford.

Other winners for the round included Tayla Jones (Womens), Nic Tomlinson (Expert), Will Ruprecht (Juniors), Ben Alfred (Clubman) and Christian Horwood (Over 35s).

The third and final stop of the series will take place at Calder Park Raceway in Victoria on Sunday, 2 March.
