Broadford’s opening round of the 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals, Australian Motocross Championship, will feature the brand new three-moto format introduced this year.

Series rights holder Williams Event Management has released the race schedule for this season, confirming the five events that will adopt the triple-race structure.

On Wednesday WEM announced that the fresh format will make up five of the scheduled 10 rounds this season, with the other half retaining the traditional dual-moto system (click here for details).

The new three-moto events will take place at Broadford’s opening round, as well as Wanneroo, Conondale, Raymond Terrace and Coolum’s high profile season finale to conclude the championship.

Appin, Wonthaggi, Murray Bridge, Swan Hill and Gladstone will feature as the rounds to remain traditional during the series.
