Australian teams in top form on day one of the 2013 ISDE

Team Australia's is off to a flying start at the 2013 FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) at Sardinia in Italy, sitting third following day one of action.

Team Australia’s is off to a flying start at the 2013 FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) at Sardinia in Italy, sitting third following day one of action.

The Senior Trophy team of Daniel Milner, Josh Strang, Glenn Kearney, Chris Hollis, Josh Green and Matt Phillips have a total time of 4h15m53.04, 1m26.97 in arrears of early leaders France. Team USA is currently second.

New Australian Off-Road Champion Milner starred on day one, leading the E2 category from Alex Salvini and Johnny Aubert. Strang was seventh, Green 13th and Phillips 36th after a heavy crash forced him to take a hospital visit.

In E1 Kearney is a solid fifth, the category led by Jeremy Joly, while E3 has Antoine Meo leading, with Hollis third.

The Australian Junior Trophy team of Tom McCormack (E1, 15th), Lachlan Stanford (E2, 19th), Scott Keegan (E2, 22nd) and Ben Burrell (E2, 31st) is fifth, that division led by France from Italy and the USA.

In the Women’s it is Australia on top, the individual ranks led by Tayla Jones from Jessica Gardiner. Jemma Wilson sits sixth.
