BTO Sports KTM has confirmed the re-signing of Andrew Short for its assault on the 2014 and 2015 AMA-sanctioned Supercross and Motocross seasons.

Short joined the team mid-way through his 2013 Monster Energy Supercross campaign after the L&Mc Chaparral Honda outfit closed its doors abruptly.

He finished the season in seventh place before switching his focus to the outdoors challenge in which he is currently placed seventh on the back of consistent results.

Team co-owner Forrest Butler looked forward to working closely with Short over the next two years.

“We are very excited to continue our relationship with Andrew,” said Butler.

“He is a great rider and real professional to work with, as well as a great addition to the teams growing success with the KTM brand.

“As an entire team, we look forward to the next two years with Andrew.”

The KTM 450SX-F-mounted Short scored a second-place finish in the opening Southwick National moto and has 191 points to his credit in a solid season to date.

Short has a number of top three Supercross and Motocross finishes to his name and was a member of the winning US MX of Nations team in 2010.
