The biggest field ever assembled will line up to contest the star-studded 2013 Maxima Racing Oils Conondale Classic at Green Park this weekend.

Run by the Queensland Vintage Motocross Club (QVMC), the event has attracted a bumper entry list and a vast variety of 1960s-1980s motocross machinery, with riders to go head-to-head across a number of classes.

1996 World Motocross Champion Shayne King and brother Darryl will be on hand to take on a handful of high-profile Aussies the likes of Glenn Bell, James Deakin, Dave Amrstrong, Geoff Ballard, Andrew Bailey and Darren Smart.

Track action begins at 9am on both Saturday and Sunday, with practice to be followed by racing. Demonstration rides and novelty events will also be held.

Class listings begin with the pre-1970 All Powers, and continue based upon selected year ranges and capacities. Sidecars and ladies, amongst others, also feature on the class list.

The Maxima Racing Oils Conondale Classic is one of the largest classic events held on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
