Defending champion Daniel Milner has clinched CDR Yamaha’s first Harvey Fresh Australian Four Day Enduro title following today’s fourth and final day in Harvey, Western Australia.

Milner finished second in today’s Moto stage to conclude proceedings, clinching the Outright title for the second year in succession ahead of Chris Hollis (Motorex KTM) and today’s winner Matthew Phillips (Husqvarna Racing).

“I’m so happy right now,” Milner said. “It was a real battle for the whole event as there were a lot of top quality riders here and I had to be at my best the whole week to get the win.

“I put in a huge effort on day three to really get a bit of a break so it didn’t come down to a winner take all fight in the final Motocross test.

“I was able to win most of the tests and get a gap on the guys so I felt really good coming into today and I just had to use my head and not do anything stupid.

“To win this again and this time with a team as awesome as the CDR Yamaha crew is unreal. They have provided me with the best team and environment I have been involved with and my bike has just been amazing all week.”

As well as the overall victory, Milner wrapped up the E1 class from Tom McCormack (Active8 Yamaha) and Peter Boyle (Honda).

In the E2 ranks it was Hollis who claimed the win, despite competing with a suspected broken foot sustained during the event. He won over Phillips and Josh Green (Active8 Yamaha).

Motorex KTM’s Ben Grabham held onto the E3 overall following day four. Completing the podium was today’s class winner Geoff Braico (Husaberg) and Stefan Granquist (Yamaha).

Other class winners for 2013 included Damian Smith (Vets 35+), Trent Lean (Masters 45+) and Emelie Karlsson (Women’s), who edged out Jessica Gardiner in the overall classification.
