Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto leads the 450 Class charge into this weekend’s Mt. Morris round of the 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing.

Although Villopoto leads the points chase, it’s Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey who carries momentum into the event following his maiden overall win of the season at Muddy Creek’s round three.

Dungey was the 2012 450 Class winner of the event while Villopoto sat sidelined with a knee injury for the duration of the series.

Holding down third overall in the premier class points is rookie Justin Barcia, the Honda Muscle Milk rider is coming off a second overall finish and looks to be finding his feet in the class.

Australia’s Chad Reed is working hard to climb back up the ladder while he battle health issues and sits 19th overall in the championship.

In the 250 Class it’s Red Bull KTM’s Ken Roczen who leads the points chase, the German rider carries a slim six-point lead over his closest rival Eli Tomac.

Tomac, of the GEICO Honda team, took the Colorado round win before earning himself a second at last weekend’s Muddy Creek. Tomac was also last year’s winner at Mt. Morris, so expect him to be looking for another win.

Following the lead duo of Roczen and Tomac is Frenchman Marvin Musquin. The Red Bull KTM rider is coming off the back of his first win of the season in Tennessee.

Australia’s Jackson Richardson currently sits 18th overall in the 250 Class championship, the privateer Honda rider has been earning consistent top 20 results in the hotly contested class.
