The American rode his YZ450F to a perfect 1-1 sweep in the SX1 class over two nights of racing, defeating a formidable line-up of opponents along the way to be crowned the King of Geneva.
Second overall went to Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin, who chose to ride the smaller KTM 250 SX-F in preparation for his 2013 250SX class AMA supercross campaign.
Behind Musquin’s and his 2-2 finishes was Frenchman Gautier Paulin. Paulin used an 8-3 result from both nights to round out the podium in third place overall.
Australia’s Meghan Rutledge also contested the women’s event and walked away with the Queen of Geneva title after using her 1-2 finishes to score the overall win ahead of Vicki Golden.
