Monster Energy Kawasaki’s team manager Troy Carroll is overwhelmed with emotion after taking home the 2012 Terex Australian Supercross Championships SX Open title, with Jay Marmont aboard the KX450F.

After a tough motocross season, which was riddled with injuries, Marmont, Carroll and the Monster Energy Kawasaki crew bounced back to prove they were still a force to be reckoned with in the premier class.

“It’s overwhelming to be honest,” said Carroll. “It’s great to get the first championship for Monster Energy Kawasaki. We had such a bad run in the motocross with injury so to come out at supercross and do what we have done is a great credit to the team and all of our great sponsors. I’m lost for words to be honest.

Carroll thanks the sponsors and families involved that have stuck behind himself, Marmont and the entire team throughout 2012.

“I just want to give a big shout out to all of the team sponsors, Monster Energy Kawasaki, Boost Mobile, Unit, Castrol, Skullcandy, Fly, M2R, NGK and everybody else who’s helped us out this year. We couldn’t do it without them and the families involved.”

Carroll, Marmont and the Monster Energy Kawasaki team will now focus on their 2013 motocross preparations heading into the new year.
