Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Kade Mosig is looking to land himself on the top of the box at this weekend’s season finale of the 2012 Terex Australian Supercross Championships.

Mosig, the current third place holder in the SX Lites standings, will head into Newcastle’s round four aiming to lay down a smooth and mistake free race.

Already setting the fastest qualifying times at multiple rounds, the Victorian believes he has the speed to take home the victory.

“One more round to go! I’ve been fastest in qualifying at the last two rounds so I know I’ve got the speed,” said Mosig. “I just need to smooth it out a bit and finish the race without mistakes.”

Mosig looks to complete a mistake free and smooth 15-lap main event win to finish off the series on a high.

“If I can do that then I know I’ll get a win at the last round and finish the series off on a good note,” he added.

Mosig currently sits just six points behind JDR/KTM Factory Racing’s Ryan Marmont who holds down second place in the SX Lites standings.
