Jackson Strong will headline Toowoomba's entertainment this weekend.

Jackson ‘Jacko’ Strong will headline the Terex Australian Supercross Championships entertainment lineup at Toowoomba on Saturday, just days before he heads to the US to embark on an all-new project.

It will be the final chance for fans to see Strong, who turned 21 last weekend, perform on home soil for some time.

He is remaining tight-lipped on the details of his new venture which will see him based stateside for up to six months.

“I’m really looking forward to being a part of the Supercross again this weekend, this marks what will be my last FMX show in Australia for quite a while,” said Strong.

“At this stage I can’t say much about what I am going to be doing, but it does fit within motorsport. “It’s a long-held dream of mine and I am looking forward to a very new challenge.”

The dual X Games gold medallist will bolster a lineup of up to six of Australia’s best riders including Matt Schubring and teenage sensation Jayo Archer.

Brother and sister pairing Matty and Emma McFerran will team up again, the talented siblings going head to head with their own distinct style and tricks.

High-flying FMX and record-breaking Monster Truck action will fill the bill as the heats, LCQs and Mains at the penultimate round of competition play out.

A number of big names have been secured to contest the crowd-favourite celebrity race.

Amongst the entrants will be Ironman Champion and Olympian Ky Hurst, former Grand Prix racer Gary McCoy (cousin of Pro Open title contender Daniel McCoy) and Brisbane Broncos powerhouse Ben Hannant.

Spectators will get the chance to walk the pits and catch up with their favourite rider for an autograph and photo, as well as seeing the race bikes up close.

The Throttle Jockeys Arena will give kids a chance to try out a 50cc dirt bike for the first time, with all safety gear and expert instructors on hand.

A range of ticketing options, including GA, Trackside and Grandstand, are available to purchase at the gate or online at www.ticketdirect.com.au.
