Lawson Bopping, CDR Yamaha’s fresh addition to the team for 2012, says he is already benefiting greatly from his new team and feels the best he ever has.

After a breakout 2011 season, Bopping landed the biggest deal of his career on one of the most respected and knowledgable 450 teams in Australia for 2012 and the young rider is making full use of all that the team has to offer.

“Joining a team like CDR Yamaha has made me change alot in the way I approach things in my training and how I set up my bike,” said Bopping.

“Already I have gained a lot of usable information and put that into practice for this season and I feel the best I have on a bike.

“It’s going to be a tough year and the competition is stronger than it’s ever been in the Pro Open class.

“I look forward to the challenge of racing some of the best riders going around and making the next step in my career.”

Bopping and the CDR Yamaha team will be on the line at round one of the Monster Energy MX Nationals in Conondale, 1 April.
