MX Nationals Under 19s series leader Errol Willis will head Team Australia at the world juniors.

Top Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals Under 19s class contenders Errol Willis and Shaun Redhead will lead Australia’s charge in the Junior Motocross World Championship this year.

Willis and Redhead will spearhead the team at Cingoli in Italy on 13-14 August, which will be managed by 2009 Team Australia manger Mark Willingham.

Willingham was thrilled with the opportunity to once again lead the Australian team and was hopeful of another strong Aussie result.

“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to take on the role of team manager again,” Willingham said.

“Australian Junior Motocross riders have performed extremely well on the world-stage previously – including Jay Wilson our first ever World Motocross Championship back in 2009 – and we certainly hope to continue that trend this year.

“Rider selection was tough as always, however we have a great team and I’m really looking forward to working with them all in the lead up to and at the event.

“It will be challenging heading to a foreign country where the language and culture is different, however most of the team have competed at events abroad before so no doubt will be looking forward to making the most of the event and representing their country in August.”
