American Honda’s Josh Grant made a solid return to racing in the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship last weekend at Budds Creek.

Grant finished a solid 10th overall upon return, finishing the round with 8-10 results for the weekend.

“It definitely feels good to be back racing with the team,” said Grant. “My goal for this weekend was to finish inside the top 10 and I achieved that.

“It’s a matter of riding myself into racing shape, and I’m looking forward to even better things in Colorado next week.”

Grant had been forced to sit out much of the AMA Supercross season as well as the opening three rounds of the outdoors through injury.

This year marks Grant’s first season with the factory American Honda team.
