Another date change announced for AORC season finale

The final round of the AORC has had its date changed again.

The final round of the AORC has had its date changed again.

Motorcycling Australia have announced another revision to the date for the final round of the Yamaha Australian Off Road Championship.

Following the recent rescheduling of the final two rounds of the AORC, event organisers, in conjunction with MA, have moved rounds nine and 10 of the championship to be held at Sailsbury, NSW back one day to 2-3 October.

While the weekend of 1-2 October presented the only option for the rescheduled AORC round, this has created an action-packed weekend of national championships around the nation, with not one but four championships scheduled.

The AORC finale will follow on immediately from the Australasian Safari which wraps up the day before on 30 September.

With this in mind, organisers have decided to make the most of the long-weekend in NSW and have moved the event back one day, with scrutineering and sign-on, now taking place on Saturday, 1 October before racing commences.
