Former Pro Lites MX Nationals Champion Matt Moss says he's ready to win from the start with KTM in 2011.

Former Australian Pro Lites Motocross Champion Matt Moss will make his anticipated race debut for the JDR Motorex KTM team this weekend when the 2011 MX Nationals series gets underway at Broadford in Victoria.

Returning fulltime to Australia for JDR after a season in the States for this year, the talented 22-year-old spearheads JDR Motorex KTM’s three-rider Pro Lites assault for this year and he says he’s ready to win from the outset.

“I’m loving the 250 SX-F and also the team,” 2009 Pro Lites champion Moss said.

“Everything is ready to go for this weekend, so hopefully we can start the season with a win – that’s the plan!”

Moss will be joined by returning teammate Brenden Harrison, the Queenslander looking to build momentum after joining JDR mid-season in 2010, as well as Kilmore local Josh Cachia, who is the current Under 19s Champion stepping into the Pro Lites category.

The trio will compete under the management of ex-factory racer Danny Ham, who was recently announced as the Australian team manager for the JDR Motorsports squad for this year.

Moss’ twin brother Jake is scheduled to return from a shoulder injury sustained in Germany mid-season for Serco Yamaha.
