Victorian Kade Mosig's confidence is at an all-time high ahead of the MX Nationals this season.

Victorian motocross ace Kade Mosig enters the 2011 Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals ready for a breakthrough seasons in the Pro Lites title chase after a solid pre-season with the Berry Sweet Strawberries Lucas Oil Honda Racing team.

Mosig will make his debut this Sunday in Broadford, Victoria for the team under the guidance of multi-time national champion Craig Anderson, who will spearhead the team’s Pro Open effort.

In 2010 Mosig had flashes of brilliance, including a second place in the muddy Super X grand final in Brisbane. for 2011 however the 21-year-old believes his fitness is at an all time high and he is ready to show his wears against the best in the country.

“This season is by far the fittest and strongest I’ve ever been going into round one,” Mosig said. “I feel like I’ve really put my head down and done what I need to do to win races and be consistent at every round.

“With so many points up for grabs and four races every round, consistency is the key.” Kade Mosig said.

Having finished last season on a factory Honda CRF250R, Mosig again is more than confident his privateer machinery is up to scratch.

“We’ve done a lot of testing for this weekend and am really happy with the package we’ve got going,” he added. “I spent a long time at Ando’s getting ready for round one – I want to come out and be on the podium right from the start!”
