General: Ducati drops pricing on Multistrada 1200 range

The first deliveries of the highly anticipated and eagerly awaited Ducati Multistrada 1200 have commenced this week with the 1200 S Sport and 1200 S Touring models, with Australian distributor NF Importers announcing that the official RRP of the four Multistrada 1200 models will decrease by $1000 respectively from what was previously announced.

The Multistrada 1200 is now available for $21,990 in Red or Arctic White; the Multistrada 1200 ABS for $23,490 in Red or Arctic White; the Multistrada 1200 S Sport for $28,990 in Red, Arctic White or Black; plus the Multistrada 1200 S Touring for $28,990 in Red, Arctic White or Black.

All pricing includes GST, however excludes dealer and statutory charges.

With an exhaustive 200,000km plus development and testing program, the Multistrada 1200 also introduces for owner’s new levels of very easy and low cost ownership through the 24,000km Desmo Service Intervals.

All models feature a four-mode menu (Sport, Touring, Urban or Enduro) integrated with three engine maps (150hp Sport, 150hp Touring, plus 100hp Urban and Enduro), eight stages of Ducati Traction Control developed directly from MotoGP and Keyless Start.

The Multistrada 1200 ABS has the additional safety feature of ABS brake system integrated to the four mode menu, while the Multistrada 1200 S Sport and 1200 S Touring also features ABS and DES (Ducati Electronic System by Ohlins) integrated to the modes.
