Honda Australia has announced that Mr Sam Schepis has been appointed to the position of national manager, Motorcycle Sales.

Schepis has been with the company for over 11 years and during his time has worked within a number of departments, most recently as motorcycle territory manager for Victoria and Tasmania.

For seven years prior to this, he acted as assistant parts manager where he focused on the continuous improvement of service to dealers and customers.

Having recently completed his MBA at LaTrobe University, Schepis also holds additional qualifications in business including transports, logistics and marketing management.

“I am excited to be part of such a dynamic and strong sales team at Honda,” he commented. “My aim is to maintain our strength in the market by making Honda the first choice for new and existing customers of motorcycles, ATVs and scooters.”

Honda’s general manager, Motorcycles, Tony Hinton said it is an interesting time for the motorcycle industry in Australia as we adjust to the new market conditions.

“We have some exciting things planned for the next twelve months at Honda and I am confident we will experience a very successful second half of the year,” Hinton explained. “We are very much looking forward to Sam heading up the sales team during this time.”

Schepis will commence his new role on 21 June, 2010.
