Home appearance at Raymond Terrace for Raceline team

Home round for Newcastle-based team at MX Central.

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki press release:

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki will make a home round appearance this weekend, as the Newcastle based team heads to Raymond Terrace for the sixth round of the MX Nationals series.

After a five-week mid-season break, MXD young gun Jesse Madden will head to familiar territory this weekend, with the advantage of Raymond Terrace being a regular testing and training venue for the local team.

For Madden, the break, as well as plenty of training over the last month, has provided the perfect foundation for a solid round six, and says he can’t wait to get back to racing this weekend.

“It’s been a really good few weeks for me – I’ve got a lot of riding in, and I’ve also been training with the guys at Elev8, just trying to keep that fitness up, and find some extra speed,” he said.

“We’ve had a couple of state title rounds in Queensland and there’s a good group of fast guys that I’ve been racing with in the last few weeks, so it’s been good to keep that race fitness up.

“Being the team’s home round this weekend, I would love to get a good result for the team or even take the win on their home turf, but we’ll see what happens.”

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki Team Manager Jesse Wallace also shared his excitement for the team’s first home-round appearance for 2015, and said their MXD pilot Madden has put in the work required to achieve positive results.

“Jesse has done a lot of riding during the break and a lot of racing actually so we’re feeling really good about this weekend,” he said.

“Raymond Terrace is obviously a home round for the team, so to have the extra support at round six for Jesse will be great.

“The team and of course Jesse is feeling very comfortable, he’s in a good position in the championship, so hopefully everything goes to plan and we have a good weekend of racing.”

The Raceline Pirelli Suzuki Team will now head to Raymond Terrace on July 5 for round six of the MX Nationals. For spectator information, head to www.mxnationals.com.au
