Penrite Honda Racing team confirm a renewed partnership.

Penrite Honda Racing press release:

The Penrite Honda Racing team has confirmed a renewed partnership with leading lifestyle brand Jetpilot ahead of this weekend’s second round of the MX Nationals at Appin Motocross Track. Two championships were won under the successful partnership and the team is excited to once again represent the #jplife.

Jetpilot General Manager Darren Attard said he looks forward to a successful partnership in 2015. “We are excited with the opportunity to partner with the Penrite Honda team once again as we have experienced success with Ford Dale winning the MX2 Championship in 2012,” Attard said.

“Both Ford and Cody Cooper are coming off a successful pre season and we believe that both can be championship contenders this year in the MX1 Class.” The Penrite Honda team have spent the past fortnight testing ahead of this weekend’s event and both Cody Cooper and Ford Dale are confident they can improve on their solid Round 1 finishes.

“I remained in Australia following the opening event and I have stayed with the team to work on a number of areas,” Cooper said. “We have done some solid riding and testing and I feel more settled as we head into this weekend.”

Ford Dale also worked with team in the lead-up to this weekends event, heading to Melbourne “We had some terrible weather in Queensland so the team flew me and the bike down to do some riding and testing in Victoria,” Dale explained.

“Riding with Cody has also been good for us both. We made some changes to the bike whilst I have been down here and we were able to test Broadford which is was a real advantage. “I like the Appin track and I am looking forward to getting another race under my belt this weekend,” Dale added.

The team has continued to develop both riders bikes under the technical direction of Steve Powel and believe they have improved the motorcycle and riders confidence in the past two weeks. “We took away a lot of positives from the opeing round,” said Powel. “Both bikes and riders gated well and our overall finises placed us in a solid position. We have tested with both riders over the past two weeks and made steady improvements.”
