Red Bull KTM’s Broc Tickle has been provisionally suspended from the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) in relation to the FIM Anti-doping Code.

According to the FIM, ‘5-methylhexan-2-amine’ – a specified substance under section six (stimulants) of the 2018 FIM
prohibited list – has been found in a urine sample of Tickle.

The sample was collected at the San Diego round of the 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship on 10 February and, as a result of the findings, Tickle is currently barred from competing as of 14 April 2018.

Tickle has the right to request and attend the analysis of his B sample and also may request lifting of his provisional suspension, however under the World Anti-Doping Code and the FIM Anti-Doping Code no further information is able to be provided.

In his first season with Red Bull KTM, Tickle currently sits seventh in the 450SX standings after recording a season-best finish of fourth last weekend in Seattle.
