Organisers of the 2025 Australian Supercross Championship (AUSX) have revealed the framework that will form the five-round series, which will span between October-November with the naming-rights backing of telco giant Boost Mobile.

Adopting the title of Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship, the series is set to cover four states, however the specific venues remain yet to be announced.

The opening rounds will begin with a double-header in Queensland – expected to once again be hosted at Redcliffe’s Kayo Stadium as it did one year ago – on October 11-12, before heading south for the third round in New South Wales on November 15.

It’s anticipated that the fourth round in Victoria on November 22 will run in conjunction with the AUS-X Open international, and with the South Australian series finale scheduled on the same weekend as the Supercars Grand Final on November 29, it’s almost certain that AUSX will once again appear at the Adelaide 500 – this time as the title-deciding final round.

As expected, a clash with the World Supercross Championship (WSX) – which is scheduled for the Gold Coast on that same weekend as Adelaide’s AUSX finals – is imminent, with select teams and riders set up with a unique challenge on how best to navigate their rosters and the respective series schedules.

Both the addition of the broader Boost Mobile partnership and the strengthened schedule mark another instrumental step forward for the AUSX series, which continues to evolve. Last season saw record attendance, growing broadcast distribution, and increased youth participation — positioning Supercross as one of Australia’s fastest-growing motorsport codes.

Boost Mobile, which is now under the ownership of Telstra following last year’s lucrative sale of the brand originally founded by Peter Adderton, takes over from Fox Racing as the title sponsor of AUSX following a three-year association.

“This partnership marks a significant step forward for the championship,” commented Mick Sinclair, head of motorsports and partnerships at AME Group. “We’re committed to building a world-class series that delivers for fans, riders, and commercial partners alike. Boost Mobile’s support empowers us to expand our reach across every channel, from broadcast and digital to live event experiences.”

Further details for this year’s AUSX championship are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, including the event locations that will make up the five-round series.

“Supercross is a key pillar in the future of motorcycling in Australia,” said Motorcycling Australia CEO, Peter Doyle. “The growth of the AUSX championship reflects a broader shift toward high-impact, entertainment-driven formats that attract new fans and bring more participants into the sport.

“This next chapter is about building a stronger, more sustainable ecosystem — one that supports riders at all levels and ensures Supercross continues to thrive for years to come.”
