A return to national motocross for Luke Reardon sees him drafted into the Serco Yamaha team to contest the final two rounds of the 2023 Penrite ProMX Championship in MX2.

Reardon has experience racing both domestically and in the US, and joins the team for the Queensland Moto Park (QMP) and Coolum rounds as the effective replacement for Jesse Dobson.

“I’m looking forward to the experience of racing with Serco for the last two rounds and the team have given me great support,” Reardon said. “I have been on the YZ250F for a couple of weeks now and starting to feel really comfortable on it and know it’s a great package.

“I also know it’s not going to be easy to jump back in at the top level after not racing in some time, but the team aren’t putting any pressure on me other than to go out and do my best.

“I’ve done plenty of laps around both tracks and being based near the team has made life easier for me, so I just plan on enjoying my time with the team, doing the best I can and keep Serco Yamaha on track for the final two rounds.”

Reardon will line up alongside Serco Yamaha MX2 regular Rhys Budd as gates drop at the seventh round of the 2023 Penrite ProMX Championship at QMP this Sunday.
