The new-look 2023 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship schedule has been released as part of the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) series.

Supercross will operate as usual across a full 17 rounds, commencing on 7 January with the annual Anaheim 1 opener in Southern California.

The opening four rounds – A1, Oakland, San Diego and Anaheim 2 – will feature 250SX West, before 250SX East takes off alongside round five in Houston. Glendale has been moved back to later in the series.

Notably, the San Diego round will shift from Petco Park to Snapdragon Stadium, while a third event at Anaheim, as well as St. Louis and Minneapolis have been dropped altogether.

Instead, the series will visit Nashville, Houston and Tampa. Plus, East Rutherford will be back this year in place of Foxborough.

Triple Crown events will return once again at A2, round seven in Arlington and round 12 in Glendale. The 250SX Showdown rounds will take place at round 14 in East Rutherford and round 17 in Salt Lake City.

In a powerful alliance between Feld Motor Sports and outdoor promoter MX Sports, Supercross and Pro Motocross will come together as one for the first time in the sport’s history next season.

Following Supercross, the sport will enter the outdoor phase with Pro Motocross at the end of May and then conclude with a three-event SMX playoff/final series.
