Mixed day one of ISDE for Team Australia

Garcia fastest outright, Spain lead 2022 World Trophy.

It was a mixed day one of the 2022 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) for Team Australia in France, currently seventh in the World Trophy, P7 in the Junior World Trophy and fourth in the Women’s World Trophy.

Daniel Milner was the quickest of the Australians during the first day with a time of 33m37.11s, placing him seventh outright and second in E1.

The combined time of 2h18m19.19s from Milner, Andrew Wilksch and Josh Green see Australia 3m35.31s from World Trophy leaders Team Spain, who hold a 22.26s advantage ahead of Italy with Team United Kingdom just 0.03s further back.

Australia’s Junior World Trophy Team trio Kyron Bacon, Korey McMahon and Blake Hollis trail top-placed Team Italy by 3m48.72s, as the green and gold Women’s World Trophy Team of Jess Gardiner, Emelie Karlsson and Ebony Nielsen are 6m55.04s from Team United States, but just over half a minute from Team France in third.

The fastest outright for stage one was Spain’s Josep Garcia, with riders to compete in five tests tomorrow for day two.
