Todd fastest during Maitland MX2 qualifying

Yamaha's Budd and Dobson complete the top three.

Terrafirma Equipment Sales Honda’s Wilson Todd has continued to pour his dominance on the Pirelli MX2 class by qualifying fastest at the fifth round of the 2022 Penrite ProMX Championship at Maitland, NSW.

Todd’s time of 1,46.944s was almost 0.9s quicker than his nearest rival, Rhys Budd (Yamalube Yamaha Racing), who posted a 1.47.812s lap-time.

Serco Yamaha’s Jesse Dobson locked down the third-fastest time, another 0.5s back.

Noah Ferguson (GasGas) and Dylan Wills (Husqvarna Racing Team) rounded out the top five, but their fastest laps were still more than two seconds slower than Todd’s scorcher.

Jayce Cosford (Yamaha), Jai Constantinou (Empire Kawasaki) finished sixth and seventh, fastest, while John Bova ((KTM), Kaleb Barham (Husqvarna) and Chandler Burns (Honda) completed the top 10 positions.
