Following Daniel Sanders’ withdrawal from the 2022 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), former EnduroGP rider and current E3 leader in the Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) Andy Wilksch has been named as part of Australia’s Men’s Trophy Team for the prestigious event.

Sanders’ withdrawal has come about due to the unavailability of suitable machinery for his intended E3 class in the ISDE, with the Victorian making significant efforts to attempt to make his attendance at the event a possibility in 2022.

Wilksch will step in for Sanders in E3, joining Wil Ruprecht (E2), Daniel Milner (E2) and Joshua Green (E1) to complete the Australian Men’s World Trophy Team. Jessica Gardiner, Talya Jones and Emelie Karlsson form the Women’s World Trophy Team lineup, as Kyron Bacon (E1), Blake Hollis (E1) and Korey McMahon (E2) will represent green and gold in the Junior World Trophy Team.

Sanders has shared footage of himself testing GasGas machinery ahead of his next outing, expected to be at the 2022 Penrite Hattah Desert Race on 1-3 July 2022.
