Husqvarna-mounted Andrew Wilksch set the pace on day one of the 2022 Prestige Truck Centre Australian Four Day Enduro (A4DE) at Erica, claiming the early lead as the event made its highly awaited return.

Wilksch sits 16.6 seconds atop of ShopYamaha’s Kyron Bacon, with Josh Green (ShopYamaha) a further 23.4 seconds behind in third.

ProMX and Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) regular Todd Waters (Husqvarna) was fourth, as Stefan Granquist (KTM) completed the top five.

As a result, Wilksch leads the E3 category ahead of Granquist and Thomas Mason (GasGas), as Green heads E2 from Waters and Fraser Higlett (Beta). On top of E1 after day one is Bacon, with Blake Hollis (Yamaha) and Jeremy Carpentier (JGR Yamaha) completing the top three.

Meanwhile, Jessica Gardiner (JGR Yamaha) has the early advantage in Womens, Jason Salopayers is in front in Masters and Darren Lloyd in Veterans.

2022 marks the first time the A4DE has been contested since 2018. The results from day one are currently unofficial and can be subject to change if penalties are applied.
