Three-rider GasGas Junior Racing Team uncovered

Returning trio set to 'Get on the Gas' in 2022.

A three-rider GasGas Junior Racing Team has been uncovered, competitive trio Byron Dennis, Ky Woods and Bodie Court re-signed and ready to ‘Get on The Gas’ in 2022.

Dennis, 15, will compete in the hotly contested ProMX MX3 class, as well as the Australian Junior Motocross Championship in Rockhampton, QLD, later this year on both an MC 250F and MC 125.

“This season I’m pumped to be riding the MC 250F and 125 with GasGas,” Dennis shared. “My aim is to win both junior classes and top three the nationals in MX3, it’s a privilege to be riding with the GASGAS Junior Racing Team and I really appreciate the opportunity.”

Woods – a former 65cc Junior World Cup runner-up – will graduate to the 125cc category, preparing for a busy year racing both Queensland and New South Wales state titles, also competing at the junior nationals in October and in the national Arenacross series.

“I’m so excited to be named in the GasGas Junior Racing Team for 2022,” Woods explained. “My plan for this year is to concentrate on the 125 class. I’ll be racing my MC 125 in the national Arenacross series, then mix it up with the Queensland Sunshine State Series and also the NSW state titles.

“After all this, we’ll head to Rockhampton later in the year to contest the Australian championships. A huge thanks to all the other sponsors that support the race team!”

Queensland’s Court will step up an MC 85 for 2022, looking to add more trophies to his collection the 2018 Australia champion is determined to achieve a strong result in his maiden Australian junior nationals outing on an 85cc.

“I love racing GasGas bikes, they are so much fun to ride and they’re competitive as soon as they come out of the box,” Court stated. “My goals for this year are to be up the front in my races and hopefully win another Australian title when we get to Rockhampton.”
