Husqvarna Junior Racing Team has revealed its line-up for 2022, returning duo Braden Plath and Heath Fisher to be joined by new addition Jack Deveson.

Plath, 16, will graduate to the TC 125 and FC 250 this season, the former 65cc world champion set to contest the highly-competitive MX3 division at the Australian ProMX Championship and two categories of the Sunshine State MX series.

“It feels really good to be on the team again and getting the support, being located up in Far North Queensland,” Plath explained. “I want to achieve some strong results in the ProMX national rounds that we contest and will be aiming for a podium finish on both bikes for the Sunny States.”

Fisher, also based in Queensland, will compete on both 85cc and 125cc bikes, himself a Husqvarna rider for the past five seasons and is familiar sight on the podium at both state and national level races.

“I’m pretty stoked to be representing Husqvarna again — I’ve been riding Husqvarna Motorcycles for the past five years,” Fisher commented. “We’re going to take a different approach this year now that the borders have opened up, we’re probably going to do a variety of different series. The goal is to be number one at both the state and Australian titles.”

Deveson will join the team on both the TC 85 and TC 125 and compete at state and national level. The New South Wales rider started 2022 strongly in the Australian Arenacross Series opener at Bacchus Marsh and is targeting two Australian Junior National Championship at Rockhampton later in the year.

“I’m excited to be riding with Husqvarna Motorcycles for 2022, honoured to be representing the junior team this year,” Deveson shared. “I’m going to try my hardest in all the races and my aim is to win the Australian championships on the TC 85 and TC 125, maybe even get selected to represent Australia at the junior world championship!”
